RE The Old Shoe Tree: another blogger told me and shared a foto of The Old Shoe Tree along Hwy 50 in Nevada:

I wonder what makes any particular tree THE tree. There is a chewing gum tree at one of our state parks, too, along the path leading to the beach. These trees are mysteries of the universe.

This image of yours is too perfect. It looks like an HO scale model train. Was this shot actually taken in your basement...?

JP: This is the real thing. There are 158 cars of ore headed down the track. Three locomotives pulling 14,000 tons plus the train cars.
