My ripples on the river
|
|
I was waiting for the sunset to reach it's peak color and tossed a cattail into the water. Then watched as the ripples spread across the entire river to influence the reflection of the big trees. The river was about 100 feet across and I did not expect the ripples to last that far out.

Lake Superior
|

|
An island off the North Shore of Lake Superior near French River. It was taken about 25 years ago on a fishing trip on the lake. The pictures were great. I don't remember catching any fish on the trip.

Needle Bark

|
I came upon a big White Pine tree in the Northwoods with big roots at the base. Some of it's needles had fallen to the ground and sort of filled in the cracks in the bark.

A big leaf caught in the branches of this brush. Covered with frost in the early morning as the sun just begins to shin on the under side of the leaf, highlighting the lower right side.
