Geologic Cross-section??

Maybe sandstone on the bottom, with a conglomerate next followed by some layers of shale and a salt-lick on top.

Our Freedom

My wife and I visited Philadelphia recently, specifically Independence Hall. The room where our Founding Fathers put together the framework we enjoy today.

We were in Salem and Kennebunkport and Boston earlier this summer. I always feel some vibe when walking into a two hundred-plus year-old courthouse, especially when it is historically significant. Mon 8-Sep-2008 02:05

A toad

While visiting Galena, Illinois last week, we were waiting for a tour of General Grants house. As the tour guide talked about the house I noticed this little creature had crawled out from under the foundation.

It would appear he was ready for the day's tours as well. Checking on the guests who enter.

Duh... now I remember that you e-mail address is always in your signature. I'll send you the image file a little later. Gotta go out and get a load of firewood this morning!

"Hot Knuckles" is a GREAT name! Made me laugh out loud. I'll put some real consideration into that one. Thanks! Fri 11-Jan-2008 20:03

That cloud looks like a cartoon crocodile head.

I think that's the first time in my life that I have spelled "crocodile." I hope it's correct.
